Aree Bartine, MA, Pre-Licensed Professional
Aree is a pre-licensed professional counseling graduate specializing in child, adult, couples and family therapy. She recently obtained a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Huntington University. Her clients say that they have experienced her as non-judgmental, and that they can bring anything into a therapy session. Aree has a way of understanding her clients and helping them find answers to their challenges in a place where they feel safe. She has worked with children through elderly adults dealing with pain from trauma, anxiety, depression, spiritual concerns, and addiction. The theories she uses are Dynamics, Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Attachment. She engages children in interactive play and stories. For adult clients, Aree uses techniques to work through the pieces and parts that are hurting.
She desires to work with clients who are experiencing a heavy heart of pain with fear, shame, guilt, or loneliness, which keeps them from receiving a life of joy. She believes at times, individuals are ready to lay their burdens down, but they are unsure of how to free themselves from the hurt. Aree works with her clients through this time using the thereapeutic process, which can help anyone who is ready for a change. She wants to walk alongside those who wish to find relief from pain that is becoming unbearable, and those who want to experience a more joyous life.
